Kim Delaney was an American actress from America. The actress is best known for her role as detective Diane Russell, in the ABC drama series NYPD Blue. For this she received the Emmy Award. She is also known for her roles in the drama series All My Children Philly CSI: Miami and Army Wives. Delaney was born the sole child from her mom who was a homemaker as well as a high-ranking executive of her union, the United Auto Workers. Delaney spent most of her childhood with her four brothers. When she was a kid she was aspired to become a court reporter. After graduating from high school, and moving in New York in the 1980s then she started modeling. In 1981, she starred as a naive teen in All My Children. Delaney has appeared in a variety of television shows, films and dramatics since then. Her career hasn't been satisfying or happy life in her personal. She has been in the past accomplished actress battled the effects of alcohol and two marriages fall apart. In 2005, the actress lost the custody of her son.
