Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial artist who currently is a competitor in the UFC flyweight division. She is older than fellow UFC Fighter and former UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko's combat sport career began with her debut as an Muay Thai competitor. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title before being defeated by Suzane Mller in a unanimous decision. Antonina Shevchenko was awarded an additional medal in the year 2007 and a bronze medal in 2008 and a gold in the year 2011, and then was named in the position of IFMA Amateur World Muay Thai Champion in 2016. Antonia was first introduced to the professional world in 2003. She took home at the world championships for light Welterweight at WKC in 2012 as well as the Lion Fight Lightweight World Championships 2016 and both the WMC World Championships and Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina was last in action against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas, at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The fight was won by an unanimous decision. She then won her two fights following in the WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. This gave her a 3-0 MMA record. Shevchenko stopped fighting to focus on boxing. Shevchenko returned against Anissahaddaoui at Phoenix FC 3. Shevchenko beat Anissa by unanimous decision after which she beat Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She joined Dana White Contender Series 2018 following the departure of the league. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina used superior striking in order to TKO Nievera by knees to her body in the clinch. After this win, Antonina received a UFC contract. Antonina received an UFC contract after her win. Shevchenko won the unanimous decision, but she fell in the second round to Roxanne Modafferi via an undisputed split decision. Antonina recovered from the loss to knock out Lucie Pudilova via rear-naked choking submission during the second round of UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the bonus fight of the night in this fight. Shevchenko lost to Katlyn and Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She fought Ariane Lipski but she was also defeated by Ariane. Antonina lost to Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO during UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
